Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Bars

Cream together:
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Cup White Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Soft Butter
1 - - Egg
- 1/3 Cup Peanut Butter
- 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 Tsp Maple Flavoring
1 - Cup Flour
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
1 - Cup Oatmeal
6 - Oz Nestle Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- Mix ingredients in the order above.
- Press into a 9 x 13 pan.
- Bake for 20 minutes or less at 350°. Do not burn!
- Center rack to avoid burning edges or bottom.
Background
Dorothy used to bring these to the field and also make up and have for the kids after school. They were usually gone in a very short time.
